Our cover-stitching method adds structure and reinforcement. Without it, the pouch can still hold up well, but the inner seam may become slightly visible under tension.

Cover-Stitch Options for Pouch-Style Swimwear

iSwim swimwear fabric is known for its softness and flexibility. For some pouch-style designs, we offer optional cover-stitching. This feature can work both as reinforcement and as a visual design detail.

When cover-stitching is applied, it reinforces the center seam of the pouch. If the inner seam allowance is thicker, the seam may become visible from the outside. However, for highly convex pouch shapes, such as Torus Pouch™ designs, cover-stitching is not available for technical reasons.

No Cover-Stitch: Softer Finish

Without cover-stitching, the pouch keeps a softer and more minimal finish, though the inner seam may be faintly visible when the fabric is stretched.

With Cover-Stitch: More Structured Look

A front cover-stitch line reinforces the pouch, giving it a clearer shape and a slightly firmer look.
